This policy explains what information masonanglintherapy.com (the “site”) collects and how it is used. The site is operated by Mason Anglin, PsyD, LMFT #121211 (“I,” “me,” or “my”). It is an informational hub that points to the businesses I am involved in. It is not a medical practice website, and it is not where therapy, testing, or any other clinical service happens.
The short version
- There is no patient portal on this site, and this site does not collect health information.
- There are no forms on this site, no accounts for visitors, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking pixels.
- Like every website, the server keeps basic technical logs. The site’s fonts are served from this site itself, so your browser does not contact Google or other font services.
- Please do not email clinical information. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.
No patient portal, no health information
This site does not offer a patient portal, intake forms, scheduling, messaging, or payments, and it does not collect protected health information. If you become a client of Advantage Mental Health and Marriage Counseling Inc., your health information is handled under that practice’s Notice of Privacy Practices. Psychological testing through Cogniscribe Psychology is covered by Cogniscribe’s own notice.
What the site collects
Server logs
This site runs on WordPress and is hosted by Namecheap, Inc. When you visit, the web server automatically records standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, the page you requested, the page that referred you, and the date and time of the request. This is used to deliver pages, keep the site secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems. The hosting provider keeps these logs for a limited time for security and troubleshooting, and they are not used to build a profile of you.
Cookies
The public pages of this site do not set cookies for visitors. WordPress sets cookies only for people who log in to manage the site. Comments are turned off on this site, so WordPress comment cookies are not used.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
This site does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics service, does not show ads, and does not use social media pixels, session recording, or cross-site tracking.
Forms
This site has no contact, intake, or newsletter forms. You reach me by email or phone, which you choose to use.
Outside services the site loads
None for ordinary visitors. The site’s typefaces (Fraunces and Source Sans 3) are stored on and served from this site, and WordPress’s emoji script is turned off. Embedded maps, videos, and social widgets are not used.
Links to other sites
This site links to other websites, including Advantage Mental Health (advantagementalhealth.org), West Roseville Counseling, Cogniscribe Psychology, youssefnakhlapsyd.com, Advantage Coaching, Therapist Front Page, and Psychology Today. The “Book a free 15-minute consult” button opens Advantage Mental Health’s secure contact page, which is hosted by its practice-management provider and is not part of this site. Information you enter on any of those sites is governed by that site’s privacy policy, not this one. The ‘Request testing’ and ‘Request an evaluation’ buttons open Cogniscribe Psychology’s secure intake form (youssef-nakhla.clientsecure.me), which is hosted by its practice-management provider and is not part of this site. The site also links to masonanglinpsyd.com and to Google Maps for office directions.
Email and phone
If you email or call, I receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, and message, and I use it only to respond. Regular email is not a secure way to send health information. Please do not send symptoms, diagnoses, insurance numbers, or other clinical details by email. If you are looking for therapy, the safest route is Advantage Mental Health’s secure consult page or a phone call to (916) 292-5775.
Your California privacy rights
I do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and I do not use personal information for targeted advertising. To the extent the CCPA applies, California residents may ask to know what personal information I have about them, ask me to delete or correct it, and will not be discriminated against for making a request. To make a request, email Mason@advantagementalhealth.org. I may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. As required by the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA): because this site does not track visitors across websites or over time, it handles visits the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, contact me and I will delete it.
Security
The site uses HTTPS encryption, and access to manage the site is limited. No website is perfectly secure, which is another reason this site does not collect health information.
Changes to this policy
If this site starts collecting information in a new way (for example, a form or analytics), I will update this policy first and change the “Last updated” date above.
