I founded Advantage Mental Health and Marriage Counseling Inc. and still run it day to day as clinical director. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I also hold a PsyD and am a Registered Psychological Associate #PSB94029529, supervised by Youssef Nakhla, PsyD (PSY 36042), at Cogniscribe, where I see therapy and testing clients in person in Roseville and Fair Oaks.

Background
A therapist who also runs the business side.
At Advantage I match clients with clinicians myself, supervise our associates, and handle the insurance, hiring, and payroll behind the practice. My background is in private practice, crisis work, and clinical supervision.
At Cogniscribe Psychology, I see therapy clients and do psychological testing (ADHD, autism, learning, cognitive, diagnostic, and pre-surgical evaluations), all under Dr. Nakhla’s supervision. Appointments are in person in Roseville, at 1430 Blue Oaks Blvd, Suite 120, and in Fair Oaks, so clients across Placer County don’t have to drive far.
I also own West Roseville Counseling Offices, where therapists lease furnished rooms, and Advantage Coaching LLC, which gives nonclinical practice support to other therapists. I write tool reviews for therapists at Therapist Front Page.

My credentials, plainly.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I hold a PsyD. I’m registered with the California Board of Psychology as a psychological associate, so my psychology and testing work is supervised by a licensed psychologist.

Therapy is through Advantage Mental Health. My own therapy and testing clients are through Cogniscribe Psychology under Dr. Nakhla. The rest are separate businesses, and none of them is this website.
